As Phoenix car accident attorneys, we have been hearing a lot about the Toyota recalls. There have been many people who have been seriously injured by these product defects, including some fatal injuries.
Probably many of you have heard Toyota has announced two safety recalls that are in regards to some of their models. The first recall is in regards to the “Floor Entrapment.” Basically that is where the driver’s floor mat is interferring with the brake and accelerator. The second recall is regarding the “Pedal.” This is where the accelerator pedal is getting stuck. This recall has caused many fatal car accidents. One of which was even on tape as the people riding in the vehicle called 911 and accelerated through an intersection. Toyota is taking calls Monday-Friday from 5:00a.m.-6:00p.m. PST and Sat-Sun from 7:00a.m.-4:00p.m. PST. You can contact Toyota at 1-800-331-4331.
